Wooftrek is a young shop, and we build our products with you. Before changing anything, we have our kit tested by dog owners, creators and dog professionals. Here is what they told us, and what we're doing about it. Nothing is hidden, even what isn't perfect yet.

The harness

"Weight alone isn't enough to pick the size." — a groomer from Lévis
✅ We created a size guide by breed, based on neck and chest girth.
"Size charts aren't always clear." — a golden retriever owner
✅ Same guide: you measure in one minute, and we help you choose before you order.
"On size S, the neck opening is too big and the underside too short for a medium dog with a thin neck." — the same groomer, after testing on three dogs
🔄 Sent to our supplier, with videos. In the meantime: before choosing an S, measure your dog's neck. Under 46 cm, the S will be too big.
"There's nothing for dogs under 10 kg." — several small-dog owners
🔄 We've chosen a harness for small dogs. It's being tested by our partners before it comes to the shop.

The hands-free leash

"The leash itself is very good." — the groomer from Lévis 🙏
"When the dog pulls, the plastic attachment on the belt takes all the force." — the same groomer
🔄 We've asked our supplier for a reinforced attachment, padding at the hip and a load test. In the meantime, we'll tell you plainly: the belt is made for a dog that walks with you. If your dog pulls hard or bolts, hold the leash in your hand.

The 3-in-1 bottle

"How do you put water in it?" — a partner's daughter

"The reservoir doesn't come apart to be washed thoroughly." — several customers and pros
🔄 We found a 500 ml bottle with a removable reservoir. It's set aside for a future version of the kit.
"The bowl is too narrow for a big dog's snout." — the groomer from Lévis
🔄 Asked our supplier. It's also written on the bottle's product page.
"We'd like the bottle on its own, without the kit." — well-equipped hikers
✅ Done: the 3-in-1 bottle is now sold on its own.

What you're asking for next

Winter boots that stay on: that hug the paw like a balloon, but keep the snow out.
