The tactical harness
Four adjustment points, buckles that release with a thumb, breathable mesh lining. A back handle to steady him on a climb, a D-ring, and MOLLE webbing if you want to clip his gear to it.
The hands-free leash
A belt at the waist and a bungee cord that absorbs the jolt when he takes off after a squirrel. Zippered pouch for phone and keys, reflective strip for end-of-day walks.
The 3-in-1 bottle
Three pieces that come fully apart: the water reservoir, the bowl that folds down on the side, and the kibble cup that unscrews at the end. You press the button, water flows into the bowl. Same button the other way to pack it up.

The water reservoir doesn't open, so it can't be washed. Fill it at home, empty it when you get back. The bowl and the kibble cup do come off, and they wash normally.

That's where the harness starts. A bichon, a shih tzu, a chihuahua: it will be too big even in S. We'd rather tell you before, not after.

A soft measuring tape, two measurements: the chest girth just behind the front legs, and the neck girth at the base of the neck. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
